1) Study finds 1/4 of Canadians are sleep deprived.

The canada.com article reads:

Sleep deprivation affects roughly a quarter of Canadians, according to a
  national survey released Monday

  ...

The 1,003-person survey, which was commissioned by the Better Sleep
Council Canada, shows most folks go to bed around 10 p.m. and wake just
before 7 a.m., amounting to nearly nine hours of sleep a night - slightly
longer than the seven to eight hours recommended by experts. But
interruptions prevent many from continuously snoozing, with the top sleep
deterrents being street noises (24 per cent), babies or children (14 per
cent), digestion (13 per cent), pets (nine per cent), and bed/mattress
  (eight per cent).
